The unit has 19 beds with a patient ratio of 4:1. Staffing includes unit secretaries; no technicians available. Equipped with GE monitors and I-mobile. Documentation is performed using Meditech and Tele-Neuro. Three shifts per week are required, with rotating weekends. No floating between units is expected. Experience with AIDET and communication boards is important for patient interactions. Advanced skills are not necessary. Procedures performed include Tele-Neuro, moderate sedation, and basic joint reduction. A demonstrated ability to manage behavioral health patients is essential.
