Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position is available at a healthcare facility. The role involves providing high-quality emergency care in a busy level II trauma center during night shifts. Candidates must be prepared to float within the hospital based on census and demonstrate a minimum of 2.5 years of experience in a large level II trauma center.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 4 days per week, minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid California license in hand, at least 2.5 years of experience in a large level II trauma center, proficiency in arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, blood product administration, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs) and dysrhythmias, and experience with trauma and pediatric emergency care. Certifications required include BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), PALS, and TNCC.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) system Epic, and trauma certification.
• Additional Information: The position supports neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics with a daily census of approximately 310 visits. The facility is trauma, STEMI, and stroke certified. Candidates must submit Nursys within 2 weeks, and provide one reference within the last 2 years.
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, with care provided at least 4 patients per shift. The assignment begins on 10/12/2026 and ends on 01/11/2027.
