Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Chula Vista, California.

  • Shift:3x12 Nights
  • Guaranteed Hours:36/week
  • Experience:3 years recent RN experience, including 2 years recent experience in the specialty
  • Education:BSN or ADN accepted
  • License:Active California RN license
  • Required certifications:BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS
  • CPI or comparable crisis-prevention certification required — must be an 8-hour course with at least half completed in person
  • Core skills: Patient assessment, nursing process, care planning, implementation and evaluation
  • Strong emphasis on patient/family education, advocacy, interdisciplinary communication, delegation and care coordination
