Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a CA RN license, EPIC experience, and ACLS/PALS certifications.

Details

  • Work in the Emergency Department of an acute care hospital
  • Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, working 36-48 hours per week
  • EPIC EMR experience required

Requirements

  • Active CA RN license required
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA or ARC accepted)
  • Minimum of 3 years of recent ER experience required, with experience within the last 3 months
  • BSN and acute care facility experience preferred
  • No prior disciplinary action on license permitted

Additional Information

  • Deliver coordinated nursing care to assigned patients following established standards and the nursing process
  • Supervise and direct various levels of nursing staff and coordinate care across disciplines
  • Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnoses and develop care plans
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members to promote a safe, healing environment
  • Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
  • Delegate duties appropriately among healthcare team members
  • Accepts local candidates at the same pay rate as traveler candidates
  • Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will not be considered
  • Required vaccinations must be completed as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions available
