Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a CA RN license and EPIC experience.

Details

  • Work in a hospital Emergency Department
  • Night shift schedule from 06:30 PM to 07:00 AM
  • 36-48 hours per week
  • EPIC experience required

Requirements

  • Active CA RN license required
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
  • Minimum three years of ER experience required
  • BSN and acute care facility experience preferred
  • No prior disciplinary action on license permitted

Additional Information

  • Deliver coordinated nursing care to assigned patients according to established standards and the nursing process
  • Supervise and direct various levels of assigned nursing staff and coordinate care with other disciplines
  • Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and care needs
  • Develop and implement care plans, coordinate care delivery, and promote a safe healing environment
  • Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
  • Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties among healthcare team members
  • Provide health information and education to patients, families, and the treatment team
  • Required vaccinations as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions where applicable
  • Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
  • Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates with no radius restriction
