Job Summary
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) position at a Level I trauma center. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care in a 56-bed ED with a daily census of 175, requiring specialized skills in adult and pediatric emergency medicine. The ER RN will deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment, aligning with established clinical standards and protocols.

Job Details

  • Position / Specialty: ER RN Emergency Room
  • Shift: Nights (4x12-hour shifts or 3x12-hour shifts, 1900-730)
  • Schedule: Night shifts, 48 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Illinois license or in the application process with ETA; minimum of 2 years experience in general emergency department. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult and pediatric emergency patient care, Cerner charting system familiarity, and trauma center experience.
  • Additional Qualifications: Must have active ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
  • Open to accommodated schedule requests; discuss with manager.
