Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse - Located at a Level II Trauma Center, this ER Nursing position involves providing high-quality emergency care to a diverse patient population ranging from low to high acuity cases. The role requires critical thinking, technical skills, and the ability to manage a fast-paced environment in a large ED setting.
Job Details
- Position Description: Start date: 10/26/2026. Shift: 12-hour nights. Minimum hours per week: 48.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications include ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC. Must have Epic experience, at least 2 years of ER RN experience, valid state license (compact license accepted), and be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Level II experience, certification in stroke or trauma care.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours, minimum of 48 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Candidates must have experience with arterial line management, care of ventilated patients, and management of dysrhythmias. Candidates should be flexible to work any holidays and may be required to float between facilities. References covering 1 year within the last 3 years are required, with two references preferred.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must include responses regarding previous employment at a Providence facility and list two references.
