Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Location: Seattle, WA. This position involves providing critical nursing care in a busy ER setting with a focus on trauma, stroke, STEMI, and behavioral health cases. The role requires flexible collaboration within a team that values accountability and respect, operating under a three-level trauma certification.

Job Details

• Certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Education and Experience: Minimum of 1 year of ER nursing experience; drivers license required at time of submittal.
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, starting at 7 PM, 9 PM, 11 PM, 1 PM, or 3 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Work is typically scheduled for one week then switches, with every other weekend and some holidays to be worked.
• Responsibilities include triage, patient assessment and stabilization, management of critical drips such as insulin and cardiac medications, coordination of patient transport, and documentation in Electronic Patient Record systems.
• Additional details: Experience or must-have skills in behavioral health is preferred; float rotation may be required within the region.
