Float Med-Surg/ED Registered Nurse (RN)

We are currently seeking a Float Med-Surg/ED Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a critical access hospital setting. This role involves working across multiple departments, primarily in Medical-Surgical and Emergency Department areas.

Shift Information

The position requires flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays based on the needs of the facility.

Minimum Experience Requirements

Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant nursing experience.

Certifications and Requirements

  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Key Responsibilities

The Float Med-Surg/ED RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, including:

  • Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in both Med-Surg and ED settings.
  • Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Utilizing strong EPIC experience for effective patient management and documentation.
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitoring patient progress and adjusting care plans accordingly.
