Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing quality patient care to both adult and pediatric populations in high-pressure situations.

Shift Details

  • Schedule: Night shifts from 18:30 to 07:00
  • Option for 4x12 shifts available, with assignments up to 26 weeks
  • Weekend rotation, including holidays, as needed

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two (2) years of Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last three years
  • Current WI RN license or Compact RN license required
  • Certification in BLS, PALS, and ACLS from AHA only is required
  • Traveler must pass a Telemetry test prior to starting

Skills and Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for:

  • Performing comprehensive assessments and triage activities for patients in the Emergency Department
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Educating patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment options
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records
