Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team for a night shift position. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality care to diverse patient populations, both adult and pediatric, in an emergency department setting.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
Effectively assess and monitor patient conditions and vital signs.
Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide essential triage services.

Shift Details

Schedule: Night shifts, 3x12 hours (1900 - 0730)
Weekend rotation and holiday coverage as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum of two (2) years of Emergency Department experience within the last three years.
Experience working with both adult and pediatric populations.
Proficient in Epic electronic health records.
Active Wisconsin RN or Compact RN license.
Current certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS from the American Heart Association (AHA).
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification required.
Successful completion of a telemetry test prior to starting the role.
