Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position available in the emergency department of a healthcare facility. This role involves providing urgent and emergency care to a diverse patient population, with responsibilities including managing various medical conditions, performing procedures, and ensuring patient stabilization. The assignment is scheduled to start on 10/05/2026 and conclude on 01/04/2027, with a shift schedule of days.
Job Details
- Shift: Days, 12 hours shift
- Schedule: 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid New York nursing license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications. A minimum of 0 years of experience in emergency nursing is required. Candidates with prior travel experience are preferred, but not mandatory.
- Preferred Qualifications: PALS certification is required at the time of submission. TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) and ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certifications are preferred.
- Additional Information: The nurse will be scheduled based on facility needs, with no block scheduling approved. Every other weekend shift is required, and there is no call requirement. Travel is not required for this role. The nurse will float to the Emergency Department Observation Unit and must be comfortable with procedures such as drips, infusions, phlebotomy, starting IVs, EKGs, transports, and medication administration.
- Experience: No minimum years of experience required, but a minimum of 0 years in emergency care. Prior travel experience is a plus.
