Job Requirements

• Active New York RN license
• At least 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• Telemetry experience required
• Previous travel ER nursing experience required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
• NIHSS certification
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency care environment
• Not open to first-time travelers

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in a busy adult Emergency Department
• Assess, triage, and stabilize patients with a wide range of emergency needs
• Monitor telemetry and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Support boarder patients and collaborate with the care team to maintain safe patient throughput
• Deliver safe, timely, and compassionate care in a high-volume trauma setting
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the medical record
• Adapt to rotating shift needs and contribute to weekend, holiday, and on-call coverage as required
