Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Mount Clemens, Michigan.

Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Summary:

The Registered Nurse delivers quality nursing care through the utilization of the nursing process. This role involves collaboration with other members of the healthcare team to maintain professional nursing practice standards. The RN will execute functions according to established policies and guidelines, ensuring the delivery of patient- and family-centered care.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Assess the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of patients.
  • Plan and implement nursing care tailored to patient and family needs.
  • Make appropriate interventions based on individual patient circumstances.
  • Evaluate patient responses to nursing interventions.
  • Assume personal responsibility for providing quality patient care, enhancing patient satisfaction, and engaging in professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Emergency Room (ER) setting.
  • Current TNCC or ENPC certification.
  • Certifications in BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association (AHA) are required.
  • Active Michigan state nursing license at the time of submission.

Schedule Requirements:

Position can accommodate either:

  • 4 shifts of 12 hours with the possibility of overtime after 48 hours.
  • 3 shifts of 12 hours with the possibility of overtime after 40 hours.

Weekend work is expected every other weekend.

Additional Information:

No on-call responsibilities are required for this position.
