Job Summary
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Department Location: Not Specified. This role involves providing direct and indirect patient care in the emergency care setting, with responsibilities including rapid assessment, triage, and coordination among healthcare professionals. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to self-study telemetry strips and pass a basic dysrhythmia test during orientation, which is required to work in the emergency department.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid license/certification verification, proficiency with Epic electronic medical record system within the past twelve (12) months, possess ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), and MOAB certifications.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in an emergency department or similar critical care setting.
  • Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: The emergency department operates on an every other weekend and holiday rotation basis. A Basic Dysrhythmia test out will be administered in the first week of the assignment and must be passed to continue working in the emergency department. The traveler may occasionally be placed on call during periods of low census and is expected to respond and arrive on-site within one hour of being called.
