The traveler will be responsible for self-studying telemetry strips upon acceptance and passing a basic dysrhythmia test during orientation, which is required to work in the emergency department. The role involves assessing patient needs, prioritizing care, and providing direct and indirect patient care, including safe and accurate triage. The traveler may occasionally be placed on call during periods of low census, with a response time of within one hour. The position requires working every third weekend.
