Travel Nursing Job Details

• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekend and Holiday Rotation: Every other weekend and every other holiday

Emergency Room RN Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure eligible for practice in Michigan
• At least 1 year of recent Emergency Room or Emergency Department nursing experience
• Emergency Room RN experience in a fast-paced acute care setting
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
• Epic electronic health record experience preferred
• Strong patient assessment, prioritization, communication, and critical-thinking skills

Emergency Room Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Assess, triage, and provide skilled nursing care to patients presenting with a wide range of emergency conditions
• Recognize changes in patient status and respond promptly to urgent and life-threatening situations
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate timely patient care
• Monitor patient responses to treatment and document assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Provide education, emotional support, and clear communication to patients and families
• Follow emergency department protocols, patient safety standards, and infection-prevention practices
