• Schedule: 4x12-hour day shifts (07:00 - 19:30), every other weekend
• Shift Duration: 12-hour days
• Weekly Hours: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,980 - $2,080
• Patient Population: Adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Experience Level: 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
• Charting System: Epic experience required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC required

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department or Emergency Room nursing experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• Epic electronic medical record experience required
• Ability to work every other weekend and thrive in a high-acuity, fast-paced ER environment
• Experience managing a patient ratio of approximately 4:1
• Strong clinical skills in triage, dysrhythmia interpretation, arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, ventilated patient care, central line care, isolation precautions, and IV vasopressor management

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, efficient, and safe emergency nursing care in a busy Emergency Department
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients across a broad range of ages and acuity levels
• Monitor and manage patients with cardiac, respiratory, trauma, and urgent medical needs
• Support high-acuity interventions and collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes in Epic
• Maintain compliance with departmental protocols, safety standards, and infection prevention practices
• Deliver timely care in a Level II Trauma environment while adapting to changing patient needs
• Contribute to a positive team culture focused on teamwork, responsiveness, and excellent patient experience
