Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a dynamic day shift position. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Details

  • Schedule: Day Shift, 3x12 Hours (07:00 - 19:30)
  • Requires working at least every other holiday

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive patient assessments in the emergency department.
  • Administer medications and treatments as per established protocols.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Monitor patient progress and provide education to patients and their families.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in Emergency Room nursing.
  • Active Ohio nursing license or compact state license required at the time of submission.
  • Current AHA or American Red Cross certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
  • TNCC certification preferred.

Additional Information

During orientation, candidates will be required to complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and the safeMedicate assessment, achieving acceptable scores on both.
