Title: Registered Nurse – ER
Location: Lubbock, TX 79410
Shift: Days, 3x12 — 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Duration: 13 weeks
 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of ER experience — hard stop
  • Epic charting experience required
  • Community hospital experience required
  • Travel experience not required if candidate has over 2 years of ED experience
  • ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC required
  • Experience with 1:3 patient ratios
  • Experience with Triage, CVA/Stroke care, cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, and emergency response
  • Experience with BiPAP/CPAP, ventilated patients, IV therapy/phlebotomy, central lines, and IV vasopressors
  • Level II Trauma and stroke-certified facility experience preferred

Description:

  • Provide emergency nursing care for adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients in a high-volume Level II Trauma and comprehensive stroke emergency department.
  • Perform rapid triage, assessment, cardiac monitoring, emergency interventions, and dysrhythmia management while caring for patients with stroke, STEMI, NSTEMI, trauma, chest pain, respiratory conditions, and other emergency diagnoses.
  • Manage patients requiring BiPAP/CPAP, ventilator support, IV vasopressors, central line care, and neurological/stroke interventions, with accurate documentation in Epic.
