Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Lubbock, Texas.

  • Shift:3x12-hour Days, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
  • EMR:Epic — required
  • Experience:2+ years RN experience — hardstop
  • Patient Ratio:1:3
  • Weekend:6 weekend shifts per 6 weeks
  • Floating:No scheduled float between units, but travelers may be required to float to nearby sister facilities if needed
  • Certifications Required:ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC
  • Unit:46-bed Emergency Department in a 379-bed Short-Term Acute Care hospital
  • Trauma Level:Level II Trauma Center
  • Patient Population:Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, and Geriatrics
  • Typical Cases:Stroke, STEMI/NSTEMI, chest pain, trauma, abdominal pain, SOB, asthma, GU complaints, headaches, lacerations
  • Specialty:Comprehensive Stroke / Level II Trauma / STEMI facility
  • Charge Experience: Preferred
  • Call:None
  • Scheduling: Self-scheduling; block scheduling can be approved but is not required
  • Holiday: Must work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, NYE, NYD)
  • License:Compact license must be in hand at submission
  • Local Radius:50 miles; locals accepted at lower bill rate
