Description
American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for an Emergency Department position requiring BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications with at least 3 years of ER experience.
Details
- Emergency Department setting within a 25-bed critical access hospital
- Night shift schedule, 36 hours per week, 7:00 AM-7:30 PM shift times
- Supervises and directs various levels of assigned nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and S.T.A.B.L.E
- TNCC certification preferred
- BSN preferred
- Acute care facility experience preferred
- Minimum 3 years of recent ER experience required
- Must have worked in the ER specialty within the last 3 months
- Cerner and Epic experience must be noted in employment history if applicable
- No prior adverse licensure actions permitted
Additional Information
- Delivers coordinated nursing care using the nursing process for assigned patients
- Collects and analyzes patient assessment data to determine diagnoses and care priorities
- Develops and implements care plans, coordinating delivery of care and promoting a safe environment
- Collaborates with patients, families, and the healthcare team to provide safe, healing care
- Provides patient and family education and participates in discharge planning
- Delegates and coordinates duties among healthcare team members
- Position is represented by UFCW
