Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department position requiring CA RN licensure and TNCC, ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

Details

  • Level IV trauma center Emergency Department setting
  • 13-week night shift contract with rotating weekends
  • Scheduled shifts run from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
  • 36 hours per week

Requirements

  • Active CA RN license required
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
  • TNCC certification preferred
  • BSN preferred
  • Prior acute care facility experience preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of recent ER specialty experience required, with experience within the last 3 months

Additional Information

  • Deliver coordinated nursing care according to established standards and the nursing process
  • Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff and coordinate care across disciplines
  • Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and care priorities
  • Develop and implement care plans, evaluate outcomes, and promote a safe healing environment
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to deliver humane, patient-centered care
  • Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
  • Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will be automatically declined
  • Candidates with a prior adverse licensure action will not be considered
  • Accepts local candidates with no radius restriction
