• Setting: Acute Care Emergency Department
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
• Contract Duration: 17 weeks
• Orientation: 2 shifts, with completion expected during week one unless approved prior to start
• Weekend/Holiday Rotation: Every other weekend and every other holiday
• Charting System: MEDITECH 6.15
• Scrub Color: Caribbean Blue

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 5 years of Emergency Department or ER nursing experience
• At least 1 previous travel nursing assignment
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Current TNCC certification
• Current NIHSS or ASLS certification
• Current CPI certification
• Prior Meditech experience required
• Ability to work in a high-acuity, high-volume emergency room environment

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to Emergency Department patients of all ages
• Assess and manage a wide range of emergency cases, including trauma, neuro, ortho, CVA, and behavioral health presentations
• Perform core ER nursing duties such as IV starts and lab draws
• Collaborate with charge nurses, physicians, APPs, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and support staff
• Maintain strong patient flow while delivering care within established ratios
• Support patient safety protocols, including sitter use and behavioral health coordination when needed
• Follow department scheduling expectations, including weekend, holiday, and callout procedures
• Complete orientation requirements promptly and maintain compliance with all facility policies and procedures
