• Orientation: 2 floor-specific shifts; completion of orientation during week one is expected unless approved in advance
• Schedule Notes: Every other weekend and every other holiday; callout expectations apply
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 – $2,010

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 5 years of Emergency Room / Emergency Department experience
• At least 1 prior travel nursing assignment required
• Recent Meditech experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and either ASLS or NIHSS
• Comfort working in a high-volume emergency department with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Ability to care for a broad patient mix, including trauma, stroke, orthopedic, and behavioral health cases
• Must wear Caribbean Blue scrubs
• Driver’s license address must be included in the submission to be considered

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a busy Emergency Room / Emergency Center environment
• Assess, triage, and treat patients across the lifespan, from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Respond to a wide variety of emergency cases, including trauma, neuro, CVA, and orthopedic presentations
• Perform nursing tasks such as lab draws and IV starts as needed
• Collaborate with charge nurses, physicians, APPs, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and support staff to support timely patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation in MEDITECH 6.15
• Support safe patient flow, including holding patients until admission and working with sitters and security as needed
• Adhere to department policies, orientation expectations, and scheduling requirements
• Deliver compassionate, dependable care in a dynamic, team-oriented ER setting
