Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• 5+ years of emergency nursing experience in an Emergency Room or Emergency Department setting
• At least 1 previous travel nursing assignment
• Meditech experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS or ASLS
• Ability to work in a high-volume ER with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Must be prepared to follow the assignment callout process
• Must complete orientation in week one unless approved in advance
• Caribbean blue scrubs required
• Candidates should meet the assignment's 75-mile radius requirement

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
• Provide timely assessment, stabilization, and treatment in a busy Emergency Room environment
• Support care for trauma, neuro, ortho, stroke, and behavioral health patients
• Assist with patients awaiting admission or transfer, including those requiring close observation
• Perform nurse-driven tasks such as starting IVs and completing lab draws
• Collaborate with charge nurses, providers, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and support staff
• Maintain patient safety, efficiency, and strong clinical communication during every shift
• Respond confidently to changing priorities and provide compassionate emergency care
