Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 5 years of emergency nursing experience
• At least 1 previous travel nurse assignment
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and either ASLS or NIHSS certification
• Prior experience with MEDITECH preferred
• Strong ability to work in a high-volume, team-oriented ER environment
• Ability to maintain patient safety, professionalism, and excellent communication under pressure

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a busy Emergency Department
• Care for a broad patient population, from pediatrics through geriatrics
• Support patients presenting with trauma, neuro, ortho, CVA, and other emergent conditions
• Perform nursing tasks including IV starts and lab draws as needed
• Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and support staff
• Deliver safe, efficient care while maintaining strong documentation in MEDITECH
• Participate in orientation and complete required training during the first week of assignment
• Adhere to department policies, including callout procedures, scheduling expectations, and uniform requirements
