Compensation & Schedule Details
- Hours & Shift: Day shift (36 hours per week / 12-hour shifts). Target start date: October 5, 2026.
Key Facility Policies & Job Scope
- Role Summary: Implements professional nursing practice centered on holistic, evidence-based patient care, comprehensive assessment, individualized treatment planning, and effective interdisciplinary collaboration within the Emergency Department.
- Core Responsibilities: Patient assessment, monitoring and executing care therapies, delegating and overseeing team tasks, managing patient education, facilitating timely admissions and discharges, and participating in unit-based quality improvement (patient satisfaction, core measures, audits).
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience:No prior experience required (though previous nursing experience is preferred).
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN or ASN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Licensure: Active, unrestricted Kentucky (KY) RN license or multi-state compact RN license in hand.
- Certifications: AHA BLS required at submittal.
