Emergency Room (ER) Nurse

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Room (ER) Nurse to join our team for a 13-week contract. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced emergency environment.

Schedule and Requirements

• Initial Training: Expect 12 hours of orientation starting in human resources and transitioning to on-floor training.
• Shift: Nights.
• Weekend Requirement: As needed.
• Holiday Requirement: As needed, with the expectation to assist when possible.
• Floating Requirement: Rarely, as needed.
• On Call Requirement: No expected requirement.

Experience and Qualifications

• Required Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room experience. First-time travelers are not eligible.
• Preferred Experience: 5+ years of ER experience, preferably in a large facility.
• New Graduates: Not accepted.
• Licenses and Certifications: Must possess a valid Kansas or Compact nursing license, with BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications in hand.

Additional Information

• Credentials Due: Wednesday prior to starting.
• Payroll: Employees are expected to clock in at the facility and submit time via the mobile application.
