Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position located in a regional medical center's emergency department. This role involves providing comprehensive emergency medical services to a diverse patient population, including trauma and stroke patients. The position demands flexibility to float to other units or hospitals as needed and offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a highly trained team.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 10/26/2026 to 12/26/2026
• Required Qualifications: Associates degree in nursing; American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Nursing Informatics (NIHSS) or Red Cross certifications; Registered Nurse license in the state of Alabama or a compact license (no temporary licenses accepted); two years of recent experience in emergency or critical care nursing, with consideration for 18 months of experience working under the highest level of professional license and at least 2 years in the specialty field

• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Must be willing to float to other units/hospitals; handling a high-volume ED over 60,000 patients annually; nurse-to-patient ratios vary from 1:1 for critical/trauma patients to 1:3-4 for other patients; scrubs are solid navy; parking is available
