First Connect Health is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Shift: 3p-3a, every other weekend and holidays as required. (Will accept 36 or 48 hours per week) Likely able to accommodate block shifts if they want Fri, Sat, Sun or Sat, Sun, Mon ? Start: 8/17/2026 (biweekly orientation) ? Length: 13 Weeks ? Certs: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC ? License: AL or Compact License (No temp Licenses accepted) ? Must have experience/skill set: 2 years experience; however, will consider 18 months of experience, working under the highest level of professional license, and must have 1 year of experience in the field of specialty. Must have ASN degree. ? Unit Info: Our Emergency Departments offer comprehensive emergency medical services to all age groups and staffed 24/7 by a highly trained team to meet the needs of the community. Our ED team is composed of physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and support staff. Our Regional Medical Center Emergency Department is a 54-bed state designated Level III Trauma Center as well as a Level II Stroke Center. The Regional Medical Center ED treats more than 60,000 patients per year. ? Floating: Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals. ? Ratios: ranges from 1:1 with our critical/trauma patients to 1:3-4 on all other patients. ? Charting System: Meditech ? Additional Information: Facility can cancel 4 shift per contract with no penalty (would be rare) and has 16 hours of Non-Billable Orientation. OT is after 48 hours regardless of a 36 or 48 hours per week. 2 attempts to pass a Dysrhythmia Basic exam during onboarding. Contract cancelled if you can?t pass within 2 times. ?
