Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nursing position based in Houston, Texas. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced hospital environment. The nurse will work on day shifts within a unit that is equipped with advanced monitoring systems and dedicated to trauma and emergency procedures.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification; completed nursing education leading to licensure; Texas residency or license; at least 1 year of emergency room nursing experience
  • Preferred Qualifications: Trauma care experience; Meditech electronic medical record system experience
  • Additional Information: The unit functions as a Trauma II center, providing services including stroke and chest pain care, with a dedicated team consisting of registered nurses, licensed vocational nurses, paramedics, patient care technicians, and behavioral health technicians. The position requires a team-oriented attitude and a positive personality fit. The assignment begins on 10/19/2026 and concludes on 01/18/2027. Every other weekend shifts are required.
