CVOR Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated CVOR Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in cardiovascular operating room settings and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Shift Information

  • Schedule: 10-hour days, Monday – Friday
  • Shift Hours: 06:30 – 17:00
  • Call: 10 days/month, including one weekend/month

Qualifications

  • Current BCLS certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in CVOR
  • Ability to circulate in a cardiovascular operating room
  • Preferred: CNOR certification and scrub experience
  • First-time travelers are welcome

Orientation

Orientation will consist of 36 hours, and scrubs will be provided for the duration.

Unit Information

Our unit comprises 3 operating rooms catering to adult and geriatric patients, ranging from their 20s to 90s. We perform a variety of complex procedures, including:

  • Aortic and Mitral Valve surgeries
  • ASD and Redo Surgeries
  • Esophagogastrectomies
  • CABG with and without valve repair/replacement
  • VATS, Thoracotomy, and Mediastinoscopy
  • Mitral Clip and TAVR procedures
  • Ascending Aortic Aneurysm Repairs
  • Groin Exploration and Port a Cath Placement
  • Robotic Thoracic Surgery
  • Carotid Endarterectomy
  • IABP insertion and removal
  • Myxoma Removal and Pneumonectomy
  • Chamberlin Procedure and Tracheostomy
  • VSD surgeries
