Join a leading healthcare facility as a CVOR Registered Nurse in Winston-Salem, NC. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on cardiovascular surgeries. As a CVOR RN, you will be part of a dedicated team, providing care for adult and geriatric patients undergoing various surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Circulate during cardiovascular surgeries, including Aortic and Mitral Valve procedures, CABG, and robotic thoracic surgeries.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Utilize electronic health records (EPIC) and medication management systems (PYXIS).
• Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and standards of care.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience.
• Current BCLS certification required.
• Preferred: CNOR certification and scrub experience.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.

Orientation for this position is 36 hours, and scrubs will be provided. The unit consists of 3 operating rooms and handles a variety of procedures, including redo surgeries and complex cardiovascular interventions. Call is required for this position, with a commitment of 10 days per month, including one weekend.
