Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) Nurse opportunity in a healthcare facility in Wenatchee, Washington. This position involves providing high-quality perioperative care to cardiovascular surgery patients within a dynamic surgical team. The role requires adherence to facility policies, surgical standards, and legal nursing practices, with an emphasis on patient safety and compassionate care.
Job Details:
- Shift: Days, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid Washington State or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) licensure; Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) experience; active Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications; ability to float as a sitter may be required; scheduled to float in rotation; availability to take call.
- Job functions include coordinating and delivering high-quality patient care, developing and reassessing individualized care plans, administering medications, performing nursing procedures, evaluating discharge plans, documenting care and assessments accurately, collecting patient information, conducting ongoing holistic assessments, determining appropriate nursing actions, educating patients and families, maintaining current knowledge of workflows and evidence-based procedures, delegating care to non-licensed personnel, participating in performance improvement, communicating with the healthcare team, and maintaining a safe environment.
