Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) Wenatchee, Washington. This position involves delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment. The RN will be responsible for assessing patient needs, providing essential treatments, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Job Details:

  • Shift: Nights, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications:
    Valid Washington State or Compact Registered Nurse licensure
    Active BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications
    Adheres to facility policies and unit-specific standards of practice
    Functions within the guidelines of the Washington Nurse Practice Act and keeps updated on legal nursing standards
    May float as a sitter and possibly to other campuses in rotation
  • Position Responsibilities:
    Coordinates and delivers compassionate, high-quality patient care following nursing process and standards of practice
    Develops, implements, and reassesses patient care plans
    Performs medication administration and nursing procedures
    Evaluates discharge plans and educates patients and families accordingly
    Documents assessments, care plans, interventions, and responses accurately
    Conducts holistic patient assessments and responds to their physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs
    Provides health education to patients and their families, sharing written informational materials when appropriate
    Maintains knowledge of workflows, evidence-based procedures, and hospital protocols
    Delegates tasks appropriately and supervises non-licensed assistive personnel
    Participates in performance improvement activities and collaborates with the healthcare team
    Ensures a clean, safe environment for patients and staff
