CVICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CVICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a 13-week contract. This position involves working night shifts and requires a strong background in cardiovascular intensive care.

Position Details

  • Start Date: 10/12/2026
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: 3x12 hours (Nights, 19:30 - 08:00)

Patient Diagnoses

  • Cardiac Surgery: CABG, valve surgeries, CABG/valve combinations
  • Coronary Artery Disease: STEMI, NSTEMI, AFIB with RVR, cardiogenic shock
  • Vascular: Peripheral bypasses, EVAR
  • Thoracic: VATS procedures

Requirements

  • 1 year of CVICU experience required; first-time travelers with strong experience (2+ years of CVICU/open heart experience) are accepted
  • Active RN license in the state of employment
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications

Work Expectations

  • Every other weekend is required
  • Holidays will be required as scheduled
  • Floating may be required within the specialty, sister units, and lower-acuity areas as needed
