CVICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CVICU Registered Nurse to join our team for night shifts. This position involves working 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30, with rotations including every other weekend and some holidays. The role does not require on-call duties.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU).
  • Utilize and maintain the NextStage CVVH machine effectively.
  • Monitor and manage patients following Cardiothoracic Surgery procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Perform telemetry monitoring and assessments as required.

Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Previous CVICU experience is required.
  • Experience in Cardiothoracic Surgery and/or Acuity Adaptable areas is preferred.
  • Must pass a telemetry test prior to commencing employment.

Schedule

This position requires a commitment to night shifts, specifically working three 12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend and some holidays.
