Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Critical Care Float for a travel nursing job in Madison, Wisconsin.

Opportunity:
RN - ICU/CCU - FLOAT
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour evening/night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend rotation required with some holiday coverage
• Float required across multiple ICU units including Neuro ICU, Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic ICU, Burn ICU, Trauma ICU, Medical Surgical ICU, and IMC/Progressive care units
• Minimum 5 years of experience required
• Travel experience required
• Must be located more than 50 miles from the facility
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the ICU specialty required
• Trauma Level I experience required
• Must be competent in multiple ICU specialties
• Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations required
• IMC/Progressive/General care population experience required
• Basic Arrhythmia experience required
• Must pass Telemetry test prior to start (two attempts allowed with passing score of 80% or higher)
• Adult telemetry exam requires 100% identification of lethal rhythms and no incorrect answers on 3rd degree heart block questions
• Charting experience with Epic required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Patient ratio of 1:3 for both day and night shifts
• 6-7 weekend shifts per contract
• 28 orientation hours
• Block schedule likely to accommodate scheduling needs
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA only), Wisconsin RN license or compact license
• Preferred certifications: NIHSS, TNCC
• Required skills include arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care and management, continuous IV sedation and paralytics, CVVHD/CRRT, emergency medications, ICP monitoring, interpretation of arterial blood gases, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, ventilator management, and management of multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
