    Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Critical Care Float for a travel nursing job in Madison, Wisconsin.

    Opportunity:

    RN - ICU/CCU - FLOAT

    Job Details:

    • Evening/Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with 8 or 12-hour shift options available
    • 4x12 shifts also accepted if preferred
    • Every other weekend and some holidays required
    • Weekend coverage required with 6-7 weekend shifts per contract
    • Float position covering multiple ICU units including Neuro ICU, Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic ICU, Burn ICU, Trauma ICU, and Medical Surgical ICU, as well as IMC/Progressive/General care units
    • Patient ratio of 1:3 for both day and night shifts
    • Minimum 5 years of experience required with ICU adult populations
    • Travel experience required
    • Must be located more than 50 miles from the facility - locals not accepted
    • Trauma Level I experience required
    • Epic charting system experience required
    • Previous charge experience preferred
    • Must be competent in multiple ICU specialties
    • Basic Arrhythmia experience required
    • Must pass a Telemetry exam prior to start with a passing score of 80% or higher
    • Required skills include arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, continuous IV sedation and paralytics, CVA/Acute Stroke management, CVVHD/CRRT, emergency medications, ICP monitoring, interpretation of ABGs and dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols, management of dysrhythmias and multisystem organ dysfunction, phlebotomy, PICC line management, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, ventilator management, and titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips
    • Required certifications: ACLS and BLS (AHA only), WI RN license or compact license required
    • NIHSS and TNCC certifications preferred
    • Travelers are required to float as needed
    • Orientation hours: 28
