TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Clinic for a travel nursing job in Winston Salem, North Carolina.

CLINICAL INTERVIEW W/MGR INTERVIEW
Unit Information:
Beds: 24 exam rooms
Census? around 3,000 patients per month for RN Navigators
Minimum Years of Experience required? 2 years clinic experience. Would prefer candidate who has Peds, GI, and/or Pulmonary experience, but not a firm requirement.
Will you accept a first-time traveler? No
Required License, National Certification, Certs: BLS
Technology/Equipment:
EMR: Ambulatory EPIC - preferred
Unit specific equipment: Vital sign and EKG machine (utilized by direct patient care members), laptop, Microsoft Teams
Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
This position is in-basket management and phone triage. This is not an in-person, patient-facing position.
Children and adolescents up to 18 years old. This position will cover the GI and Pulmonary subspecialties
GI: constipation, reflux, hyperemesis, EOE, IBD, Crohn’s, celiac, blood in stool
Pulmonary: asthma, bronchiolitis, vents/trachs, cystic fibrosis
Skills required: Phone triage for above diagnoses, in-basket management, med refills, requests for paperwork from providers, etc. These are all established patients with this clinic.
