Exciting Opportunity: Travel RN Case Manager

• Location: Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria, LA
• Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Join our dynamic team as a Travel RN Case Manager and make a meaningful impact in patient care! Here’s what you can expect:

• Unit Overview:
  • Typical Census: 180-230 patients
  • Current Case Managers: 6 dedicated professionals
  • Patient Ratios: 1:40 during weekdays
• Essential Skills:
  • Case Management experience required
  • Familiarity with Midas/InterQual
  • Licensed Masters Degree (preferred)
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of area resources
  • NATE Certification
• Key Responsibilities:
  • Interview patients and families face-to-face
  • Conduct Daily Multidisciplinary Rounds (MDRs)
  • Perform InterQual reviews for each patient
  • Manage observation reviews, DPEs, and discharge planning
• Ideal Personality:
  • Team player who connects easily with others
  • Confident and outgoing individual
• Dress Code:
  • Caribbean Blue scrubs with a white jacket
• Floating Areas: Potential to work across the entire hospital, including W&CH and ED
• Weekend Rotation:
  • Availability for rotating weekends, Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • No on-call required!
