Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgical procedures
- Function in scrub and/or circulating roles within the cardiovascular operating room setting
- Respond to on-call needs as required by the department
- Work scheduled weekend shifts as part of the standard rotation
- Float to other areas appropriate to your skillset as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Florida or a compact state license
- Current hands-on clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting
- Ability to fulfill on-call and weekend scheduling requirements
- Willingness and ability to float to appropriate units as needed
- Must be available to interview prior to placement
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in a CVOR or surgical setting
- Familiarity with cardiovascular surgical procedures and related instrumentation
