Travel Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)

Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgical procedures in the operating room
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Perform scrub and/or circulating duties during cardiovascular surgical cases as required
- Monitor and document patient status throughout the intraoperative phase, responding promptly to changes in condition
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, sterile technique standards, and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Texas or through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
- Minimum of 1 year of CVOR or cardiovascular surgical nursing experience
- Current BLS certification; ACLS may be required
- Ability to fulfill travel assignment requirements, including relocation to the Fort Worth, TX area for the duration of the contract
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in a CVOR or perioperative setting
- Familiarity with a wide range of cardiovascular surgical procedures including open-heart and valve surgeries
- Experience with both scrub and circulating roles in a cardiovascular OR environment
