Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled perioperative nursing care within a cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) setting
- Fulfill on-call requirements, including approximately 1 weekend per month and 1–2 weeknights per week
- Float to different units as needed based on assignment and patient care demands
- Collaborate with surgical and cardiovascular teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in hand (State license or Compact RN license required)
- BLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience (adult or pediatric)
- At least 1 completed travel assignment
- Must be available for on-call shifts including weekends and weeknights
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Proficiency across a broad range of CVOR skills and procedures
- Experience in both adult and pediatric cardiovascular OR environments
- Demonstrated ability to adapt and float to various units within a hospital system
