Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurse – Ohio
Start Date: October 2026

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) supporting 24/7 operations including weekends and holidays. No call required. Flexible scheduling with rotating weekends.
Highlights:
- Work in a high-acuity Level I Trauma facility specializing in cardiac, vascular, and transplant procedures
- Comprehensive case mix including CABG, valve replacements, AAA repairs, dissection repairs, heart and lung transplants, TAVR, TEVAR, EVAR, and ventricular assist devices
- 7-bed cardiovascular operating suite with EPIC charting system
- Experience with both open and endovascular procedures including robotic-assisted surgeries
- Fixed nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1 across all shifts
- Scrub experience required for cardiac and vascular cases
Requirements:
- Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license)
- 3+ years overall Operating Room experience required
- 2+ years dedicated cardiac, vascular, and transplant experience required
- 1+ year CVOR scrub experience required (cardiac and vascular cases)
- 1+ year experience in a Level I Trauma facility required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- EPIC charting system experience required
- Nursing education from ACEN or CCNE accredited program
- Must have experience with heart/lung transplants, aortic aneurysm repairs, CABG, laparoscopic cardiac surgery, mitral valve replacements, ventricular assist devices, endovascular aneurysm repairs, and TEVAR procedures
- Flexibility to work holidays, weekends, and varied schedules
- Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
