Schedule: 10-hour days, Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM; Call: 10 days per month including one weekend per month (3:00 PM to 7:00 AM)

Highlights:

• Three-room cardiovascular surgical suite serving adult and geriatric patients (ages 20s to 90s)
• Comprehensive case mix including CABG, valve repairs/replacements, TAVR, robotic thoracic surgery, aortic aneurysm repair, carotid endarterectomy, and various thoracic procedures
• Epic charting system with Pyxis medication management and SBAR communication protocols
• 13-week contract assignment with 36 hours of orientation; scrubs provided
• Interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and transportation
• First-time travelers welcome; must be open to both circulating and scrubbing responsibilities

Requirements:

• Active North Carolina or Compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
• Circulating experience required; scrub experience preferred
• CNOR certification preferred
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Must be available for phone/video interview prior to offer
