    Job Title

    Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)

    Mesa, AZ

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights | Onsite | Full-Time | Weekends and holidays required per unit guidelines

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting during night shifts
    • Manage and monitor post-operative open-heart surgery patients during the recovery phase
    • Operate and manage mechanical circulatory support devices including Impella and intra-aortic balloon pumps
    • Adhere to unit guidelines for weekend, holiday, and float coverage as required
    • Complete all required learning modules and maintain compliance with facility standards prior to and throughout the assignment
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum of 24 months of CVICU experience, with experience within the last 12 months
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of Arizona, verified within the last 30 days, with no disciplinary actions
    • Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
    • Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
    • Valid driver's license required to verify residency
    • Arizona residents are not eligible for this assignment
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Direct open-heart recovery experience with a strong focus on Impella and intra-aortic balloon pump management
    • Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred
