Key Responsibilities of the RN - CVICU - Travel

• Manage immediate post-op cardiac, thoracic, and vascular patients
• Utilize critical care skills such as invasive line monitoring, ventilator/trach management, and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Administer and monitor cardiac medications
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide optimum patient care
• Engage in patient rounds with support medical staff including intensivists and CT surgeons

Requirements of the RN - CVICU - Travel

• BLS, ACLS certification
• Minimum 3 years ICU experience with 1-year CVICU experience
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system
• Preferred experience with CV surgical procedures such as ECMO, CVVH, IABP, and VADs
