Description:
This position is for a Registered Nurse in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit.
The role involves caring for critically ill patients, including those with cardiac conditions.
The unit consists of 16 beds with a patient ratio of 1:2.
Common diagnoses include STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, sepsis, CABG, and valve repair/replacement.
You will be responsible for managing patients experiencing acute respiratory failure, A. Fib RVR, ETOH withdrawal, head injury, overdose, stroke, and trauma.
Flexible scheduling is preferred with potential call requirements on weekends.
The management of Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) and other advanced procedures may also be necessary.
Candidates should have experience in blended ICU settings and be prepared to float to intermediate care units as needed.
